Smartdate is the future of online dating. An international platform loaded with Web 2.0 functionalities and fully integrated with social networks (Facebook). Alpha launch Feb 15, beta launch Mar 15.
Smartdate is a VC-backed ambitious startup and developed by proven entrepreneurs and experts in the dating industry.
The team is a fast-growing international team based in Paris, France working mainly in English.

Your responsibilities
Goal is to build a world-class web2.0 platform with perfect facebook connectivity, outstanding ergonomics and innovative matching tools. You will be in charge of carrying the product to exceed world-class standards within just months, and ensure the top-notch quality, usability and scalability of the product.

• Follow-up on roadmap and project plan for development
• Agressively meet and exceed deadlines
• Coordinate with CTO and team of developers
• Hire and manage a team (Product managers, CRM managers, graphic designers)
• Ensure constant optimization of the product, coordinate releases, manage external partners … (CRM, PSP, hosting etc)

Your profile

• Top-notch university degree / MBA, reflecting very good analytical and logical skills
• Independent, entrepreneurial work style and “driver” mentality / track record as an entrepreneur
• Significant, successful experience in Web Product Management (5 years min)
• Excellent web 2.0 culture (Facebook & iPhone apps…)
• General knowledge of coding a plus (Ruby on Rails, CSS, Java)
• Excellent communications skills on all organisational levels + good networker
• Metrics minded, rigorous, precise, business sense / focused on ROI
• Perfect English, other European languages a plus
