Smartdate is the future of online dating. An international platform loaded with Web 2.0 functionalities and fully integrated with social networks (Facebook). Alpha launch Feb 15, beta launch Mar 15.
Smartdate is a VC-backed ambitious startup and developed by proven entrepreneurs and experts in the dating industry.
The team is a fast-growing international team based in Paris, France working mainly in English.

Your responsibilities
You will be involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation. Specifically you will be responsible for translating user needs, business needs, and visions into sketches, flows, mockups, wireframes, etc., optimizing workflows.
This position requires heavy interaction with marketing people, web designers and our engineering team. In this role, you’ll help define the design and interaction of a product that will be seen and experienced by millions of users every day.

You will be able to deliver simple, clean and efficient user experiences (including for future mobile apps)
You will process the results of user research to improve their experience.
You will help improve the style guidelines.
You will demonstrate a strong rigor in execution and exceed deadlines.

Your profile

• University degree, good student profile
• World-class web 2.0 and mobile culture (Facebook, Twitter, iPhone apps…)
• Independent, entrepreneurial work style and “driver” mentality
• Significant, successful experience as a Web Applications designer (3 years min)
• Very creative but structured and organized
• Able to work in HTML/CSS
• Perfect English, other European language a plus
