Candidate profile:

For this BI Senior Consultant job opening, you have already gathered relevant knowledge during at least 5 years of previous experience. You have very good interpersonal and teamwork skills and you can also make good prove of the following qualifications:

* Writing functional specifications; * Writing technical specifications; * Data Warehouse design (dimensional design); * SQL programming language (Oracle environment); * Business Objects expertise (module designer and reporter / Webi, SAP / BO XIR2 & XI3); * ETL Informatica expertise (minimum V8); * Fluency in English – mandatory; * Bac+2 minimum;

Responsibilities:

Working along with a team of dynamic and involved people, you will constantly improve the decision-making process by performing the following main activities:

- Sustain interviews / workshops with the Key Users in order to refine and validate the their needs, – Write detailed functional specifications:

* Specifying the Indicators, Dimensions, Hierarchies and Archives, Users Visibility / Access, * Design of Conceptual Data Model (CDM) for the Data Warehouse, * Functional analysis of the data sources and data specification to be extracted and of the associated rules, * Functional description of the processing / treatment extraction flow, * Functional description of data loading and automation, as well as of treatment regarding associated rejects.

- Write detailed technical specifications:

* Specifying the BO universe (Objects, Classes, Measurement, Dimensions), * Designing the Physical Data Model (PDM) of the Data Warehouse, * Technical analysis of the data sources and of the extraction and treatment specifics, * Detailed specifications of ETL mappings.

- Write and perform the test cases; – Specify and perform integration testing; – Perform Informatica mappings; – Define the Business Objects universe, – Complete the Business Objects reports.
